Ian Duffy
Partner, RSM Farrell Grant Sparks
Specialising in corporate restructuring and green technologies, Ian is a former managing partner at FGS. Prior to joining FGS, he held senior roles in private consulting and management, responsible for major operational improvement projects including the replacement of the core banking system in a leading financial institution. For seven years he was Chair of The Ark – a Cultural Centre for Children.

John Healy
Adjunct Professor, Centre for Nonprofit Management, Trinity College Dublin
Previously President and CEO of Atlantic Philanthropies, John consults in the fields of philanthropy and foundation management. He chairs Philanthropy Ireland, the association of independent philanthropic organisations in Ireland and also serves on the boards of the Irish Landmark Trust, the Mary Robinson Foundation and the Trinity Foundation. He is a member of the Irish Government’s Forum on Philanthropy and Fundraising, and sits on the advisory board of the One Foundation.

Owen Keenan
Founder, Middlequarter
Owen Keenan established Middlequarter to support support progressive activists and organisations to bring about positive social change in Ireland. For fifteen years he was Chief Executive of Barnardos, Ireland’s largest children’s charity which under his leadership became highly respected for its effectiveness and professionalism, and grew to become a national organisation. He also serves on the board of the Centre for Effective Services.

Sheila Nordon
Executive Director, ICTR
Sheila is executive leader of the representative organisation for charities in Ireland. She is the Chair of the Social Finance Foundation, and a member of the Government’s Forum on Philanthropy and Fundraising. She also serves on the boards of the Carmichael Centre and Philanthropy Ireland.

Philip Smith
Partner, Arthur Cox
As coordinating partner of Arthur Cox’s Charity Law Group, Philip advises on the issues affecting charitable and not-for-profit organisations and their Directors / Trustees including preparation of governing documents, assistance with applications for Revenue charity status, and advice on governance issues and fundraising. He also serves on the board of Boardmatch Ireland.
Brian Sheehan
CEO, GLEN – Gay and Lesbian Equality Network
With a background in information technology, Brian was previously director of the Dublin Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, and founding director of Boardmatch Ireland – an innovative new model of volunteering in governance.
